Karlie Kloss fan-girling over Deepika Padukone on Instagram is the coolest thing ever (see pic)

[ad_1]

Deepika Padukone’s beauty and popularity is unmatched, both on Indian and international grounds. While back home she has had the most successful year with her movie Padmaavat making record breaking business, she has been creating ripples on the international soils too. She made two terrific appearances at the Met Gala and Cannes recently and all her outings at these dos were much appreciated. At Met Gala, she was seen wearing a red Prabal Gurung gown aligning with the theme Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination. She turned into a scarlet beauty with Atelier Prabal Gurung cardinal strapless gown with hand-draped silk gazar sculptural shoulder bloom and side draped chapel train with Tasaki Atelier embellishments. Other than looking DROP DEAD gorgeous, she also hung out with pretty cool people from Hollywood too.

The Padmaavat actress chilled with Hailee Steinfeld and Diane Kruger. DP was seen matching her red lips with the international superstar Karlie Kloss who later poster a picture with her on Insta. She captioned it as, “So much love for this lady @deepikapadukone.” Looks like Deepika has made a lasting impression on her.

On the professional front, DP has not signed anything post Padmaavat. She was supposed to Vishal Bharadwaj’s gangster biopic on Mumbai mafia queen Sapna Didi but since her co-star Irrfan Khan fell ill, the project has been indefinitely postponed. There is a conjecture that she will be seen next in a superhero flick with oodles of action scenes produced by Fox Star Studios. But there is no confirmation on this front as of now. But we hope to see her soon on screen!

Has Deepika Padukone signed a superhero ACTION film with Fox Star Studios?

[ad_1]

We have been waiting with bated breathe for Deepika Padukone to announce a new film soon after Padmaavat and looks like the wait is over now. For the uninitiated, the leggy lass was supposed to do a gangster film based on Mumbai mafia queen Sapna Didi. Irrfan Khan was supposed to play a male lead with her but owing to his ill health, the film was postponed. Post that, her fans and industry alike were super eager for Deepika to sign a film soon. She specified that she wanted to do a light hearted love story next and now, there is a speculation again that she has signed a superhero film next with Fox Star Studios and it is set to be made on a MASSIVE scale. There is a buzz that DP has finally locked on the script after curating through many projects and she is very excited to do an out-an-out action film.

Interestingly, Deepika’s ex Ranbir too will be seen in a superhero film next. We can’t help but draw the parallels here. Looks like after historical biographies and love stories, superhero films will be a new trend in Bollywood. If of course masses lap them up. Only time will tell if filmmakers will be able to crack the formula or no!

On personal front, there is a speculation that Deepika Padukone will get married to Ranveer Singh sometime in November.

Deepika Padukone’s sis Anisha TROLLING her publicly is like every younger sibling ever

[ad_1]

Deepika Padukone is an actress par excellence and has now become a global icon to boot too. After her successful outings at MET Gala and Cannes Film Festival this year, she indeed has become a hot property for brands and filmmakers. Moreover, let’s not forget that she headlined a magnum opus Padmaavat which made record breaking business at the box office. This cemented her position as the queen of Bollywood even more. But regardless of being a successful public personality, she also is a typical elder sister to Anisha Padukone and shares a very close knit bond with her. In fact, she came with Anisha to Vogue BFFs and regaled us with all the funny moments and interesting anecdotes that they shared together. The actress who is known to be extremely guarded on social media and otherwise surprised us by sharing a meme sent to her by Anisha which gives us an insight into their bond.

She shared a super cute dog meme and captioned it as, “After a hard day at work, this is what my little sister sends me!!! love you AP.” The meme just shows that according to Anisha, DP is all aggressive and outspoken at home but her personality gets suddenly transformed into a demure, quiet character the moment she steps out in public eye. We can all totally resonate to this comparison, right?

On work front, Deepika has not yet announced any project after Padmaavat except for Vishal Bharadwaj’s gangster biopic based on life and times of Sapna Didi, the Mumbai mafia queen. The movie is postponed because her co-star Irrfan Khan fell ill suddenly. We hear she is waiting for content oriented film which will give her a scope to show her mettle as an actress. Stay tuned for a big announcement from DP’s end.
